After a year of venue closures and curbside performances, the AEO is announcing its first venue concert at the Madrid Theatre in Canoga Park on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Tickets are on sale now, which can be purchased on Eventbrite, link is on the website. Seating is limited due to covid restrictions on capacity, so tickets will go fast. Conducted by Music Director Alfred Surenyan with special guest conductor Ryan Reeson, the concert to include Science Fiction themes, Beethoven, Scott Joplin, Vivaldi, three original works and many more. Feature artists to include Soli Jones on EWI for “Vanished” for EWI and Strings by Alfred Surenyan and Ruslan Biryukov on cello with his student for Vivaldi’s Double Cello Concerto. World Primere of “From Seeds to Fire” by composer Esin Aydingoz.
Fundraiser to include silent auction and raffle items donated by businesses and artists.
This will be a fun event with an orchestra that is expanding the boundaries of orchestral sounds.
