Background includes radio hosting, writing for traditional media and writing or editing either full or part time community newspapers, journals and bulletins over nearly 50 years. These include Highlights (children's stories), the Leeward Coaster, Seattle Post Intelligencer, Honolulu Advertiser, the Proof is in the Puddin' and others. I am currently owner/ editor of
Green Heritage News. I have also been a college instructor in journalism, English and education at Penn State, Allegheny Community College, Hawaii Pacific and Northwestern State University and written for academic publications, for which I have received both national and international recognition. I have 4 books in print.
