Karl retired from the Canadian military after 35 years service. His interests are in politics, military analysis and sports, primarily German Bundesliga soccer. During the past five years Karl has written both hard news stories, political opinion pieces and analysis of international events, including Libya, Afghanistan and the Middle East.
Karl's political leanings are right of center, as a fiscal conservative, with progressive thinking on most social issues.
