Fulfilled my childhood ambition to be a journalist with 13 years working for my local newspaper before a two year stint in London.
Filled in with customer service related jobs for both Sainsbury and Boots before returning to journalism as rural affairs specialist after a move back home to Yorkshire.
Worked for two years in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales before having my first child at the age of 38. Since then I have been a stay at home mother doing the occasional freelance work for an ethical mother and baby website.
