News out of Bend, Oregon is that male resident, Thomas Beatie, is 22 weeks pregnant. Articles have been written and an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show is scheduled. Looking closer, news of a Pregnant “Man” is just a myth.

Herb Peterson has died in his home in Santa Barbara, California, at the age of 89. Peterson himself has achieved some sort of fame for inventing the popular breakfast item known as the Egg McMuffin.

The Walt Whitman Bridge has been closed while a man with a gun is threatening to harm an infant. Police are at the scene trying to reason with the man. The man is in a white Cadillac Escalade.
UPDATE
The man was safely taken into custody. Child is safe.

Yesterday in the New England Journal of Medicine a case was published about a hairball that was removed from an 18-year old woman's stomach about a year ago. This huge mass caused severe pain, weight loss, swelling of her abdomen and vomiting.

Dennis Quaid and Kimberly Buffington's newborn twins, Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace, who were born on November 12 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, were accidentally given massive overdoses of heparin, a blood-thinning drug, on November 18.

An unidentified 36-year-old Fraser Valley man is in extremely critical condition in hospital after being Tasered by the RCMP in a Chilliwak, BC rental store on Monday. The victim was Tasered, pepper sprayed and struck with batons.

A German man filled up his car, paid for the gasoline, but he forgot to take his car back home. The police found the owner of the car from the records and contacted him to get the it back.

Web designer, Patrick Moberg, 21, was love struck after he saw his 'dream girl' on a subway Sunday night. He lost her in the crowd when the subway stopped and they both got off. He then designed a website devoted to finding this girl.

Today, Wegman's Food Markets, Inc. and Cargill, Inc announced that 1 million pounds of ground beef is being recalled due to possible E. coli contamination. This is the second time in a month in which Cargill has recalled possibly tainted beef.
