I'm a freelancer covering news and events on the community level. I'm currently based in Toronto, having moved a year ago from San Diego, California where I published and edited my community newspapers - the Diario Veritas, The District Times and the Philippine Village Voice. I was a foreign correspondent with the Deutsche Presse Agentur and Asahi Shimbun before I decided to engage in community journalism.
