Violence escalates in Nigeria as Boko Haram strikes in two states

Maiduguri - A gun battle broke out between Nigerian security forces and Boko Haram insurgents in the northeastern city of Potiskum on Saturday. According to the police, the gunmen engaged security forces in exchange of gunfire all night.
