Cairo - The leader of Egypt's National Salvation Front and of the opposition party, Mohamed ElBaradei, has called on the public to boycott the upcoming parliamentary elections in midst of suspicions of avoidance of his party's probable failure in the elections.

The new Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi has called for national unity in the country stating that it "is the only way out of these difficult times."

The results of Egypt's presidential election will be officially announced by the election commission on Sunday following a controversial delay.

Cairo - BBC News is reporting that at least 20 are dead in Cairo as a result of an attack on an anti-military protest near the Ministry of Defense.
