The principal of a school in Coney Island has banned the patriotic song "God Bless the USA" at the graduation of Kindergarten kids at the school. Principal Greta Hawkins says the song could "offend other cultures" and is "too grown-up" for the kids.

We hear quite a bit of chatter about patriotism these days and the topic can be testy, controversial and to some, anathema. Personally, I find that the people that complain the most about being non-patriotic are the ones that are indeed non-patriotic.

In response to the inanity and the blustering rhetoric to the singularly most boring DNC Convention in my 40 years of following politics, I would like to present the greatness of America and what that greatness of America means to the world.

Don't tell me these men do not love their country and don't tell me that they don't believe in the cause of Freedom because that is assuredly untrue. Don't tell me that Barack Hussein Obama supports these Troops and McCain does not.

Regardless of what happens in November, we have already won. The foreign and domestic enemies of the United States have not and will not achieve their most sought after goal - an American failure in Iraq. It just isn't going to happen for them.
