Toronto - Today Porter Airlines announced that they want to buy some jets. There's a problem with this though...jets are not permitted, other than in the case of an emergency, at Billy Bishop Airport.

According to media reports, a Turkish military aircraft has crashed in Syria. The aircraft appears to have been shot down and the two pilots have been rescued.

East Rutherford - With the shots that were exchanged before the game by the head coaches Rex Ryan and Norv Turner, you knew this game was going to be tough. For a while during the game the San Diego Chargers looked like they were going seal the deal, but couldn’t.

Foxboro - Some good NFL teams have been struggling to begin the season, but the New York Jets are a top the list as they are just taking steps backwards. The Jets are now on a three game losing streak, and it may be tough for them to bounce back after this loss.

Baltimore - When you think of the New York Jets and the Baltimore Ravens you think ‘Defense’. Last night they proved you right as both of the offenses struggled as the defenses stepped up and gave us more excitement then a little bit in a Ravens 34-17 win.

East Rutherford - The Jacksonville Jaguars cut the David Garrard before the season started and put their faith in Luke McCown, but they have yet to see the production. The Jets took advantage of the lack of productivity to get a 32-3 victory and another win.

East Rutherford - Before the season even started Rex Ryan said the Sunday night 9/11 game will be the most pressure he has ever felt for a game. His team looked like they were under pressure too until the fourth quarter when they released it with a great comeback.

East Rutherford - The Jets and Giants are in the same market and have been going at it for years, but the addition of Rex Ryan has made it a bit more interesting to watch. Well that, and the fact that the Jets have been more successful of late.

East Rutherford - The New York Jets signed Plaxico Burress right out of jail, and he had to sit for a couple of weeks due to an ankle injury. Last night he made his Jets debut and scored a touchdown in the process to help the Jets get their first win of the pre-season.
