Jerry Sandusky, former Penn State assistant football coach, is being held in protective custody on suicide watch after a jury convicted him Friday for sexually abusing underage boys over many years.
A panel in Bartow, Florida voted to not pay for jail inmate health care by using Polk County's half-cent indigent sales tax. Last week the vote was put forth with the Citizens HealthCare Oversight Committee.
