An investigation is underway into the "death" of an 88-year-old Brazilian woman who was declared dead after hospital officials said she had no vital signs but then re-awakened a few hours later when funeral preparations were underway.
A woman who went into a vegetative state in November 2000 awoke for three days, spoke with her family and a local television station before slipping back on Wednesday. "I'm fine," Christa Lilly told her mother on Sunday, her first words in eight months.
