The latest survey of the ice fields remaining on the mountain indicate the remaining ice fields atop famed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania could be gone within two decades and perhaps even sooner.

China has been receiving record level snowfalls the past few months and much devastation as resulted; however, there is an upside to this reality, the spring melts may help reforest a hard hit region.

The fourth major snowfall of the season is hitting the Maritimes and flights are being cancelled and motorists are being warned to proceed with caution as some areas will also get some freezing rain.

Strong winds, heavy snows and possible ice pellets are heading east across Canada and it is not even officially winter yet. Flights between Chicago's O'Hare Airport and Toronto and Montreal have already been cancelled or delayed.
