The show's host is actress Amy Poehler who along with Meredith Walker and Amy Miles interview different girls in each Smart Girls episode. Blending comedy and fun the shows bring regular girls who are doing cool things a few minutes in the spotlight.
There is also a site for Smart Girls to celebrate changing the world by being themselves.
The shows themselves may not be award winning material but the concept is a wonderful idea of how being a smart girl is amazing. It also shows that anyone can help change their world, even if they aren't famous.
The show started in 2008 and has won a Webby Award. Their Facebook page has over 3,100 fans.
