He may be a long-shot for the presidency, but that did not stop Paul from becoming a bestselling author. In fact, it might have helped just a little bit.

Paul has proclaimed over and over again that he will not drop out the race for president as long as he still has supporters. And, if book sells are any measure of support, he has plenty of it. The Revolutionaries love The Revolution.

Most politicians -- especially those who have virtually no chance of winning the presidential election -- could only dream to be the #1 bestseller. In fact, most campaign books are doomed to failure. But don't tell that to the supporters who managed to catapult Dr. Paul's book to the top spot.

The book has also reached #1 on the popular one-stop internet shop Amazon.com.

The Revolution is not the first time Paul has put out a book and it will not likely be the last, but it is the first to sell so well. Previous books include A Foreign Policy of Freedom which takes an in-depth look at America's foreign policy and entangling alliances in the Middle East.

Barry Goldwater Jr., son of the famous Conservative Senator, had this to say about The Revolution:

The real truth about Liberty. This book takes a wrecking ball to the political establishment. Senator Goldwater would have loved it.

Even though it is nearly impossible for Paul to become president his "Revolution" still has the support of many.
