$1 parking ticket paid after 26 years

A $1 parking ticket from 1980 has finally been paid off, after the offender sent the payment along with a $3 late fee to police without giving a name.

They can't read the signature, so they do not know who it was.

The return address was marked "Someone who keeps way too many old papers way too long."

Now my first thought was that this is a truly honest man...Then I thought, after all that time why bother...But in the end he did the right thing...In don't think I would have paid it in that situation...They have more money then they need already and the average guy needs that $3 in his pocket...But hey I'm cheap...you make the call.
