CHICAGO, July 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 28, Chicago Public Schools introduced the Lend Lease team, with teammates DSR Group, SPAAN Tech, Primera Engineers, Comprehensive Construction Consultants and Rubinos & Mesia, as the new Construction Manager for their Capital Improvement Program.
Under this Capital Improvement Program, the Lend Lease team will be responsible for renovation and life safety work at over 100 Chicago Public Schools across the City. The contract is for a 21-month assignment with three 1-year renewals.
In the Chicagoland area, Lend Lease's K-12 Education expertise has afforded the firm the ability to partner with over 20 local School Districts to provide project management and construction services for major renovations, additions and life safety upgrades on occupied sites as well as master planning and new construction of state-of-the-art facilities.
