ERA Clinical, LLC announces the completion of its technology transfer from Omnicomm™ Systems, A Ft Lauderdale based EDC provider. The transfer enables ERA Clinical to build electronic data collection systems for Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs) and other streamlined drug and device clinical trials. Using Omnicomm’s Trialmaster® platform and web-based technology, ERA Clinical will build, test and validate electronic Case Report Form (eCRFs) in-house, retaining the hosting and technical support supplied by Omnicomm. The technology contains a new tool that allows inclusion of high resolution color graphic files into the eCRF. We can now create visual scales that enable physicians and other clinical investigators to evaluate erythema, edema and similar conditions when assessing clinical outcomes in therapeutic areas like dermatology and ophthalmology.
