PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 24, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Law Firm of Krasno, Krasno & Onwudinjo is very proud to announce that The Honorable Geoffrey Dlin (ret.) has joined us as senior Workers' Compensation attorney. Mr. Dlin served as a Workers' Compensation Judge for more than 15 years in Lehigh and Berks counties. As a judge, he presided over and decided more than 10,000 workers' compensation cases. His caseload included
workplace fatalities, toxic exposures, orthopedic injuries,
amputations, eye trauma, cardiac arrests, and
thermal/chemical burns. In addition to managing his docket, Judge Dlin developed a state-wide mediation practice and was responsible for settling thousands of Workers' Compensation matters, including related personal injury cases. Before joining the Bench, Mr. Dlin had years of experience representing people injured at work and in a variety of personal injury matters. He has also had the valuable experience of representing insurers, self insured and third party administrators in Workers' Compensation and personal injury cases. Mr. Dlin has taught Continuing Legal Education courses to lawyers and judges for both the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the PA Bar Association. He has also lectured on Workers' Compensation topics to insurance companies, law firms, and other private organizations. For more than a decade, he provided the judicial perspective as a guest expert on the television show, American Law Journal.
As for Krasno, Krasno & Onwudinjo, the legacy created by the Honorable Isadore Krasno in 1936 carries on today. Judge Krasno served as a Workers' Compensation Judge from 1953 to 1997. After his retirement from the bench, he remained as a consultant until his death in 2003. KK&O was searching for the complimentary piece to carry on a tradition that has been in existence since 1936.
