Intrinsic Imaging, an ISO 9001:2008 certified and GAMP 5 medical imaging core lab specializing in providing imaging core lab services for clinical trials, announces today that it was recently awarded a Phase II efficacy trial of a ground breaking novel cancer therapy.
This clinical research study utilizes a novel investigational biologic treatment for patients with any stage of metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma or advanced colorectal cancer that no longer responds to standard therapies. During this trial, Intrinsic Imaging will study treatment response of the patient’s cancer by evaluating images using Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST). Intrinsic Imaging will also provide qualitative and quantitative assessments of metabolic tumor response using PET Response Criteria in Solid Tumors (PERCIST).
