Sunset west of London

East of where I live, there are some old army buildings about to be demolished. Talk about a boring picture. I thought the buildings might look better if shot at sunset. I left home but I never did find out; The sunset was just too impressive to waste time driving west.

I headed east out of town. It was a quick drive as I live on the southwest edge of the city. At the top of the first hill, I had a clean view of the sunset and I had my picture.

Thanks for the positive comments. It would be nice to kick-up the DJ photo site a notch. Turn it into a source for photo tips, camera reviews, etc. (Well, maybe it wouldn't be nice. Maybe it's fine just the way it is, but my newspaper background keeps pushing through and I can't help but think, how do we bump up the circulation - the hits - that DJ attracts?)

I especially like that there is detail in the foreground. Any chance you can still get to the old army barricks????Sounds like some good conceptual stuff could come of that.
As far as the photo site, I see that it is maturing and includes some decent tips. I am new to this (DJ) and it seems heavily writer dedicated, as a photographer I hope this matures also.
