Few days ago, I got in touch with a friend of mine. Was wondering what he was up to and so forth. He had lost his old phone and recently got a new one. My friend gave me the 411 on a film he made last year called "
Residue."
My friend took on the role as director for the film.
I saw the trailer and was amazed. The acting and cinematic were very good. It made its debut at the Temecula Valley International Film Festival. It won the Audience Choice award.
It won Best Film at the 2008 San Diego Film Festival.
It was also an Official Selection at the San Diego Asian Film Festival and the Tallgrass Film Festival.
The film's plot depicts the events leading towards the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia.
