What a difference a storm makes. Bush administration
blew the post-Katrina response and his mother revealed her privileged ignorance by
suggesting evacuees were better off. Americans died because George W. Bush was too busy commending his incompetent staff for doing a "heckuva job"
President Obama has
demonstrated real leadership and shown why there is an important role for the federal government. Mitt Romney said he wanted to
privatize disaster relief, until the optics of "Sandy" changed and
he reversed course - but you know he really hasn't.
Americans should vote to re-elect President Obama on Election Day so we can keep a President who cares for all American citizens and you know exactly where he stands. Let's not go back to the incompetency of the Bush years, by electing a man with no core principles.
