Emmy Green Room features pet pampering and plenty of coffee

On stage, it is about the Emmy Awards, but backstage it is making sure stars are pampered and walk away pleased. The Wolfgang Puck Coffee Bar will take center stage in the Green Room, which has been dubbed "The Tweet Suite." When Puck is involved, it has been noted, "it escalates any event." Because of that, the Red Carpet Luxury Gift Lounge, honoring the 64th annual Emmy Award nominees, will feature Puck's coffee. The Red Carpet Luxury Gift Lounge will be staged to pamper and honor television's finest. Emmy nominees will be escorted down the Red Carpet to the Tweet Suite. Once there, they will find an eclectic mix of pampering opportunities. See, the key word is pampering. And tweeting. "We decided the Red Carpet Luxury Lounge was the ideal event to transform the traditional Green Room space, staging it as an interactive Social Media delight," said Amenity Services VP, Sherri Scheck-Merrill. In what may surprise some, pets are involved here, too. A "Yappy Hour" was created. Yes, a "Yappy Hour." Pets can enjoy treats from Conair Pro-Pets and "Mutt-a-tizers" from Buddy Meals. Meanwhile, for the sweet tooth, there is Nothing Bundt Cakes, who will serve up a Bundtini Cake Bar. For stars on the go, make-up touch-ups and organic manicures will be provided by Dial M for Make-up and the Lollipop Nail Studio. The Suite design includes artful touches from a custom Tweet painting provided by famed, Beverly Hills artist Daniel Maltzman, to die for sculptures from Ko Galleries and floral designs by XOP Design. Now, back to Puck's beans. They, too, receive star treatment after being found in coffee growing regions such as, Kenya and Ethiopia. The beans go through a rigorous screening process; they are handpicked then roasted to perfection by a boutique wind-energized roasting plant. As a tribute to the 64th annual Emmy show nominees, the hot and iced Brew Bar will pour drinks to honor such as, "Mad Men Haute Chocolate" and "The Big Bang Latte."
