Does unquestioning support of war veterans also support the war machine?

While many, over the past week, have referred to the plight of war veterans I was moved by two video clips over that period. One was an excerpt from a TV series, The Newsroom The other was Bill Moyer speaking of The Secret Government It wasn't these, alone, that caused me to ask the question in the title.
