'Zero Dark Thirty' to open Dec. 19; Oscar buzz hits already

A good Hollywood strategy was made when this film was moved from October to December, for its release date. On Dec. 19, the new film from Katherine Bigelow will arrive. "Zero Dark Thirty" already has Oscar buzz, but considering she won for "The Hurt Locker," why not? However, will politics cloud this one along the way since it deals with the hunt for Osama bin Laden. Before the elections, there would be talk of "spiking the football" and credit. Now, the film may be able to open on its own. However, that is doubtful. See the trailer. The term means "30 minutes after midnight."
