Maintaining environmental control in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is in large part dependent on the facility’s cleaning and disinfection program. The program requires the selection of the appropriate disinfectants, their proper application, and validation of their capability to inactivate vegetative cells.
This is the core focus of an article by Tim Sandle for the Global BioPharmaceutical Resources newsletter, titled "Sanitization of Pharmaceutical Facilities".
In the article, Dr. Sandle addresses room sanitization, equipment sanitization, glove sanitization, the selection of sanitization agents and cleaning techniques.
The article can be accessed for free on-line at GBR.
