I have a colleague at an evening job I work seven hours a week at. She lent me an incredible "The Shadow" box set of old radio shows. It starred Orson Welles and it was terrific stuff.
I've been listening to old radio shows on YouTube now. I put them on my MP3 player and my fiancee and I listen to them before bed now. It's riveting stuff and I absolutely love listening to them.
When I lived in Florida in my early years, we used to listen to dramas on the radio and this was in 1995/1996! Now, I don't hear them anymore nor would I want to considering how much I dislike contemporary art.
Anyone listen to these old Suspense Radio shows form the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s?
