The Olympics are coming - Science and Sports

With the Olympics due to start in the UK in a month or so, it seems appropriate to highlight activities in the UK which link science and sport. In relation to this, the British Science Association, The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), and other organizations who fund and support science, have created a number of events focused on bringing science and sport together.
