A List of Foods You WANT to Eat During the Day

According to Dr. Michael Roizen, co-author of YOU: The Owner's Manual with Dr. Mehmet Oz, there a couple of ways to combat aging just by eating certain foods. You want to eat nuts like almonds and walnuts as well as handful of vegetables, fruits and whole grain cereal. If you're wondering whether you should get whole wheat or whole grain, whole grain is the way to go. Much healthier.

Furthermore, try to avoid eating corn often since our body absorbs sugar differently. But there is a solution for that too. Try eating nuts before ANY sugary food and you will notice that it slows down your stomach from emptying (meaning you don't get hungry so often) and your blood sugar is kept constant (not skyrocketing like it would if you took only sugary foods).

Fish is another terrific way to eat low-fat protein foods. Since there has been controversial information about fish, try to look for tilapia, salmon, flounder, cod and mahi-mahi because these fish don't contain ANY of the toxic chemicals. You should try to eat a serving of these fish 3 times a week.

Tomatoes are another important source of food. They decrease arterial aging, heart disease, stroke, memory loss, impotence, wrinkling of the skin. Make a tomato sauce because you will most likely be able to get more out of 1 potato. 165 raw potatoes = 10 tablespoons of tomato sauce. So, instead of eating 165 tomatoes, make a sauce. Moreover, try to cook it and add a bit of olive oil to it. Mmmmmm delicious!!!

Most importantly, hydrate, rehydrate and re-stock! It's important to drink water even when you're not thirsty because you are still losing water even when you're not sweating! So, keep in mind: water is good for your body and skin and it will make you feel a lot better and fuller (so you would eat less). You should also try having a glass of wine!!! Vitamin D and calcium you can get from milk. A glass of milk on a daily basis (even if you don't like it) will provide energy for your brain.

Hope this helps for everyone there!
