Here I am again to tell you about all the great stuff I'm eating from GMM. Today was a little sketchy. Great Breakfast. Lunch sucked and dinner was pretty ordinary.
I was excited as I was heating up breakfast because I've never had crepes for breakfast. I think I've eaten crepes 5 times in my life. Once in Japan (ok more than once in Japan) and a few times in some local restaurants here in Atlanta.
In Japan they mix their flavors and textures in the most imaginative ways.
I had a strawberry/creme fresche/kiwi and wasabi crepe that was 'smack your momma' good!
Breakfast this morning wasn't exactly 'smack your momma' good. But it was unexpected and delicious. Work being what it is lately, I really needed it.
Breakfast
Build Your Own Crepes with Apple Butter Filling, Turkey Sausage Links, Fresh Orange
The apple filling was cream cheesy and delicious. It wasn't over poweringly sweet. And the crepes were wrapped to prevent sticking and microwaved perfectly. I had 2 crepes with more than enough filling. The calorie count on this was 470 which I thought was a little much for breakfast. But it was a great treat.

Sliced Turkey Breast over Orange Walnut Couscous Salad
This meal was an epic fail. I counted 1 piece of walnut in there. I was looking for the orange but never found it or tasted it. The couscous was very bland and grainy so I didn't eat more than a few bites. I tried! But, I pass. That left me with one slice of turkey and a long, long way to go before dinner.
I left work and was making it to the gym but I was really hungry. Dinner was 3 hours away and I had an hour of sweating and a dance class to go to. I was sitting in traffic and bailed to McDonald's drive thru. I've not been in a McDonalds in a very long time. Their menu is HUGE! I'm glad I didn't need to order anything but a smoothie! They have all kinds of crap to choose from. Can you still get a cheeseburger there? I got one of those Pineapple Mango Smoothies. I have to say- it was really good. It's a little bit of a stretch to substitute a McDonalds smoothie for couscous. I hear ya! Don't judge me! But the only other option was Starbucks.
By the time I got home it was getting late. And again, I was pretty happy to heat and eat dinner in under 5 minutes with zero clean up. And it wasn't chicken!

Pecan Crusted Tilapia, Scarlett Runner Bean Risotto, Green Beans
I know what your thinking! Scarlett Runner Bean Risotto? Green Beans? All these beans! I'm gonna start missing chicken soon! But the tilapia was very moist. It was a nice size piece and well breaded and and well seasoned. The risotto was so so...and green beans are green beans.
It did the job. I wasn't starving anymore. It was late and I was bushed.
Tomorrow is a new day. We'll see what GMM has in store for me!
