All past polls showed Senator Clinton losing to both Republican front-running candidates but the most recent poll from Newsweek finds Clinton has caught and overtaken her rivals. The poll also reveals that she is now drawing support from half the base of independent voters who had previously been McCain supporters.
It will be very interesting to see if this trend continues.
