If it were up to bloggers and the online community, John McCain would never be President. And he is simply reinforcing that Internet-hating blogs-despising attitude in his legislative record.
In one of his latest moves, "he has introduced legislation that would treat blogs like Internet service providers and hold them responsible for all activity in the comments sections and user profiles."
This is a dangerous precedent as he proposes close monitoring of online behavior and seeks to paint everything in black and white. This is a serious infringement of civil liberty and a gross departure from Republican values that advocates less government and more individual rights.
