The Queen of Pop, Madonna, ranks at No. 1 this year as Forbes' highest-paid musician. Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi follow her at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.
According to an article in Forbes, the iconic "Material Girl" garnered $305 million from the tail end of her MDNA tour. Madonna earned a total of $125 million, leaving Lady Gaga in second place with $80 million. Gaga generated the majority of her money this year from her "Born This Way Ball," but it was cut short due to her hip injury.
Part of Madonna's income this year also came from merchandise sales at her concerts, as well as from her "Material Girl" clothing line and "Truth or Dare" fragrance.
Not bad for a singer that celebrated her 55th birthday in France as Digital Journal reported, where she was dressed up as Marie Antoinette.
