Assassin's Creed III is set to be available in a few hours for its Tuesday morning midnight release. In preparation, a launch trailer has been released and is ready for viewing.
Game stores across North America, at midnight, the highly anticipated “Assassin's Creed III” will be released out to consumers for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. This will be available for the Nintendo Wii U on November 18 as one of its launch titles. If you have already pre-ordered in advance, you could be one of many waiting in line until midnight. As the game is set to be released at midnight, a launch trailer has been released. At the same time, its companion game “Assassin's Creed III: Liberation” will be released for the Playstation Vita (PSV).
The launch trailer covers the back story of Ratonhnhake:ton, adopted name Connor, who is the newest addition to the “Assassin's Creed” franchise. Desmond Miles, from the previous Assassin's Creed games, will use the same device to dive into the memories of Connor who is one of his ancestors. Connor is the first Native American assassin in the Assassin's Creed series.
Assassin's Creed III takes place during the latter half of the 18th century in Colonial America. Connor will be thrust into the American Revolutionary War. When playing the game, the world setting takes place in Colonial Boston and Colonial New York.
New game play features are added to Assassin's Creed III. General George Washington, the 1st United States President, is one of the major characters in the game.
According to the game's time line, Assassin's Creed III takes place between 1753 and 1783. It fits the same time line as Assassin's Creed III: Liberation as it takes place between 1765 and 1780. Both games cover two important wars of 18th century America. In the case of Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, it takes place in Louisiana during the French and Indian War.
Like Assassin's Creed III, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation features a brand new protagonist: Aveline de Grandpre. She is the first female main character in an Assassin's Creed game. Like Connor, Aveline is biracial. Connor is half-British and half-Mohawk while Aveline is half-French and half-African.
Both games have been made where they can be linked up together. That should be motivation to buy Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed III: Liberation.
