For the past four years late October has gone to the dogs, as costumed canines from the Middle Tennessee area bring their owners to the Barktoberfest celebration.

Nashville Paw Magazine , Barktoberfest has a generous array of of food and live music for the dogs and their two legged companions to enjoy, much like an
Octoberfest celebration. Combine that with dogs adored with an array of humorous and unique
Halloween costumes, and you have a the makings of a very entertaining event.
The event included live music from Eight O' Five Jive and Duncan May & the Resonators, a
Fido + the Fortune Teller Booth, the Nashville PITTIE Luv-a-Bull Booth and Pittie Pride Parade and $3,000 in prizes up for grabs to the best Howl-O-Ween costumes.
