The moment Mitt Romney uttered the words "binders full of women" the internet began buzzing with tweets, Facebook post and news articles and op-eds.
Romney used the phrase "Binders Full of Women " when he answered an audience member's questions about how he would address the equal pay issue, and it has become this week’s presidential debate meme according to Now Public.
Tumblr now has a Binders Full of Women page, full of binders full of women pictures, and even a song dedicated to the newest meme. There is even a Twitter persona called @romneybinders according to an NPR report. It even became Google's third top-trending query Tuesday night, according to Google Politics.
The YouTube crowd is getting in on the action as well, posting with satirical videos of the Romeny phrase. One such video not only pokes fun at the meme, it also reminds viewers that the full statement made by Romney is not an accurate statement, adding clips from tv shows saying "oh no you didn't. Former President Bill Clinton even makes a guest appearance in the video.
Undoubtedly there are many other videos already uploaded and many more to come, allowing us all to take a humorous break from the seriousness of the upcoming election.
