A new video from an Obama event at Ohio University showcases many people who have not heard of the '9/11 Benghazi' attacks or the murder of Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans.
While they all proudly and definitively proclaimed that they intended to vote for President Obama, they were shamelessly ignorant of the recent events in Libya. Not only does this video say a lot about Obama supporters, it is also says a lot about the quality of education that college students are receiving today.
The following is typical of the responses that the questioner received:
“So, what do you guys think about the situation in Benghazi?” an interviewer with Revealing Politics asks two girls.
“I have no idea,” one of them replies, giggling her head off.
One middle aged gentlemen actually said that he thought the Republicans were responsible for the Benghazi attacks.
The vast majority of the respondents were unaware that there had been an attack on an American consulate and did not know who Ambassador Chris Stevens was. It is especially disappointing to think that college students can be so alarmingly uninformed on such an important news event.
