The video shows an American woman filming a lightning storm she describes as "a real rootin' tootin' little rainfall." But what she calls "little rainfall" comes down in thick sheets around her home with palm trees swaying under heavy gusts of wind.
The video posted to YouTube by Rita Krill was probably shot in Florida.
YouTube user Palomanolive comments that the woman was just showing her friends from out of the state what a Florida rainstorm looks like. But she got more than she bargained for when a lightning flash comes suddenly crashing down like the wrath of God in an awesome fireball.
The woman goes hysterical and shouts "whoooooo," almost dropping her camera in fright. The camera swings around in her hands and captures a dog that seems rather unimpressed by Nature's display of awesome power.
Most viewers are amazed at the reaction of her dog to the sudden lightning flare. Palomanolive observes that the dog is a rescue pup. Glozell6 exclaims: "The dog didn't even have a bit of a reaction to it."
The video posted on October 5 has received more than 250,000 views.
