Los Angeles - “Clueless” star Stacey Dash has been relentlessly attacked on-line after she recently tweeted her support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Many of the crude attacks from Obama supporters are racially charged, obscene and highly offensive, according to a Fox News report.
Much of the foul criticism of Stacey’s political viewpoint is “motivated” by her not supporting Barack Obama, according to the report.
Some Obama supporters accused the actress of “voting for white supremacy,” claiming she “is white with a dark tan,” and others slurred Dash, launching a myriad of offensive names at her.
A slightly more subtle bully tweeted: “You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing Mitt Romney. You’re voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot."
Another Twitter user, @Black Voice wrote, “Stacey Dash had a perm since birth. I knew I couldn’t trust her.. lol.”
Still more Obama supporters wrote more openly hostile comments, some encouraging “the old hag” to “kill herself.”
One Tweeter who recommended suicide is listed as a doctor and politically active Democrat in Washington D.C. The man is reported to have deleted the inflammatory “kill yourself” tweet, but not before it was captured by social media news site Twitchy.com.
Many other Tweets showed support for Dash, her presidential choice and for her right to free speech.
