Former U.S. news anchorman Tom Brokaw was taken to a hospital in Charlotte early Thursday when he complained of dizziness after a taping of “Morning Joe.”
Brokaw has been a staple in Charlotte during the Democrat National Convention, appearing on broadcast venues including his old network, NBC, "Morning Joe," early evening tapings of "The Daily Show" and late-night chats with Sean Hannity, according to the
Huffington Post.
A spokesperson for the 72-year-old former anchor of "NBC Nightly News," said Brokaw was transported to the medical facility for examination after experiencing dizziness.
Brokaw even made time to moderate a Huffington Post panel on jobs on Wednesday, suggesting he was quite active during the Democrat’s convention.
It was unclear if Brokaw was admitted or would he might be released from the hospital.
