Seth MacFarlane to host 'SNL' season premiere

Seth MacFarlane, creator of the hit cartoon "Family Guy" will be the guest host on Saturday Night Live's first episode of the season.

According to New York Post, NBC announced that MacFarlane will be the guest host on SNL's first episode of the season, which will air on September 15th. Frank Ocean will be the musical guest. According to Extra, the announcement comes after "Ted" hit the theaters. The movie was MacFarlane's creation. According to Wall Street Journal, actors Daniel Craig and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will also guest host future episodes this fall. Gordon-Levitt will host the SNL on September 22 and Craig will host the show on October 6.
