Yosemite National Park - Vacations are to be a care free way of getting away from everything. National Parks are one of the most visited vacation spots in the U.S.
As reported by Fox News, visitors who chose Yosemite National Park for a vacationing spot in mid-June through August may find vacation will result in more stress than not. Health officials have confirmed a second death from Hantavirus of visitors to Yosemite National Park. Officials of the park are announcing warnings to any visitors that visited the park within the mid-June to August timeline, to please be aware of flu like symptoms that may develop. Hantavirus symptoms can take as long as 5 weeks to appear and can be mistaken for the average flu and cold symptoms.
As there are thousands of visitors every year to the national park around the time indicated, it is impossible for officials to contact everyone. Heath officials fears, at this time are on edge as possible outbreak may occur. The location under investigation within Yosemite is the "Signature Tent Cabins," which are located at Curry Village, a lodging area in the park.
