Get ready for the lottery ticket machine lines to get that much longer. The Powerball jackpot is now $305 million dollars.
Saturday night's Powerball drawing came and went with nobody matching all numbers of 4, 13, 39, 46, 51 and 1 as the Powerball number. The current jackpot has now grown to $305 million, inching closer to the Powerball record of $365 million, which was won February 18, 2006, in Nebraska. Five tickets sold did however win $1 million by matching five numbers and sixty-two people won $100,000 by matching four numbers and hitting the Powerball number. Next drawing will be Wednesday night. At the present time, the $305 million is the sixth largest Powerball jackpot in history.
