NFL quarterback Peyton Manning returned to the Chicago field yesterday and his action after 18 months was cheered by fans.
The four-time MVP winner, Peyton Manning, proved a strong comeback in the Thursday match against Chicago bears. All eyes were on the eagerly-awaited debut of the Denver Broncos' quarterback. Peyton suffered a terrible neck injury, owing to which he missed out the full 2011 season. There were lot of expectations and rumors with regards to his neck injury.
Peyton's neck injury had put him into a circumstance of being replaced by Andrew Luck by the Indianapolis Colts. Manning played 14 years with the Colts excluding 2011. And the Denver Broncos signed Manning in 2012 and consequently they have beaten the Bears with 31-3 in the preseason opener Thursday. Peyton ended up with 4 out of 7 passes.

As reported in NFL, Manning told, "I sure have come a long way in a year. I know how much hard work I've put in and how much help I've gotten along the way. I know once we get to Pittsburgh, it'll be all about the game. I'm not going to be too reflective."
Although Manning's Thursday's performance is being rated from positive to mixed reviews, he should be appreciated for a strong comeback. Manning is a NFL legend and the Colts very well know of his throws as he spent the maximum years with them. Most of the fans had concerns over his Broncos' debut, like whether he would adapt to new team, velocity of his throw, sustainability of his active performance that he had previously shown, and health.
Whatever it is, a player like him can face this type of challenges with ease. Though his debut was a winning game, it might take some more time for the NFL fans to visualize his usual form of game with the Broncos in the same way as his quarterback career while under Indianapolis Colts.
Manning also added, "It's hard to know what's going to happen, it's hard to predict, but I felt like I had a little rhythm there on offense, things we can build on. Overall, I thought it was a decent start."
Peyton Manning has been the center of attention in the NFL and there's no doubt he'll continue to provide many more interesting games.
