Paris - A Canadian teen receives a shocking surprise during the time of a church service after eating a breath mint containing an element of metal.
A Paris Ontario teen avoided certain danger after nearly consuming a breath mint. The mint was in her mouth when she commented to her mother how the mint candy tastes a lot like metal. The family feels responsible to alert the public of this danger so that other isolated incidents don't occur to other families. The candy itself may be very small but when consumed the candy can pack a very big taste.
Teen Allysah Nickell said "The candy tasted like a staple." Mother of the teen gave her best efforts to contact the candy company. However she came up empty handed simply because there was no contact information on the back of package. She than contacted the Dollarama store where the candy was purchased and paid for.
Dollarama would not officially comment on the incident expect to say the circumstances were unfortunate.
The Nickell family would like the product taken off the shelf until an investigation into the mishap is launched.
