The National Geographic Traveler photo contest has ended, and judges will soon announce the winners. But the public can still play its part and vote, until July 20, for the Viewer's Choice award.
For this 24th edition of the National Geographic Traveler photo contest, no less than 12,000 images from around the globe have been submitted in four categories: Travel Portraits; Outdoor Scenes; Sense of Place; and Spontaneous Moments. The general public has until July 20, at 9:00 a.m., to choose its favourite image, the author of which will receive the Viewer's Choice prize.
National Geographic Traveler has underlined some of this year's prizes for the winners: A
photography expedition in the Galápagos, a
Santa Fe Photographic Workshop, a National Geographic Traveler
Seminar, and gift certificates for $200 at B&H Photo.
