Greeley - A 44-year-old Colorado teacher was arrested Tuesday, accused of sexually assaulting and having a baby with one of her 17-year-old students. The woman was also the boy's legal guardian at the time of the alleged sexual assaults.
Rhonda Eisenberg, a teacher at Greeley Central High School in Greeley, was booked into Weld County Jail, accused of felony sexual assault after police received a tip about her alleged relationship with a Mexican teen she taught at Northridge High School, also in Greeley.
9News reports that Eisenberg admitted to having sex with the boy 20 or 30 times in 2010 and 2011. The couple had a baby together in February. She was also his legal guardian at the time of the alleged relationship.
Eisenberg is on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.
Earlier this year, Lynne Freeman, a 38-year-old parent volunteer at University Schools in Greeley, was arrested and charged with sexual assault for locking a 14-year-old boy, who was a friend of her daughter's, in a closet in her home and performing oral sex on him.
