Sage Stallone, the son of Sylvester Stallone, has died at the age of 36. He was found dead Friday in his Studio City home by his housekeeper, his lawyer George Braunstein confirmed. At this time the cause of death is undetermined.
Source have told TMZ that authorities are trying to determine if Sage Stallone's death was intentional or accidental. There has been talk that Sage overdosed on prescription drugs, but that has not been confirmed.
The New York Post reports that a bottle of pills was found at the scene, but it is unclear whether Sage Stallone meant to take his own life.
George Braunstein, Sage Stallone's lawyer, said Sage "wasn't depressed," according to the LA Times. "He was thinking about getting married. He just had his whole life ahead of him."
Sage Stallone made his film debut alongside his father Sylvester as Rocky's son Robert Balboa in the 1990 film, Rocky 5.
He acted in and directed several films including the 1996 film "Daylight."
A rep from the LAPD confirmed that Sage was found dead alone Friday morning, the New York Post reports. "There is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity," the rep said
Sage Stallone's mother is Sasha Czack.
His father, Sylvester Stallone made his last public appearance Thursday at San Diego's Comic Con promoting his upcoming film The Expendables 2, alongside costars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren, MTV News reports.
TMZ reports that said Sylvester is a "wreck."
His rep, Michelle Bega said "Sylvester is devastated over the sudden loss of his son, Sage Stallone. His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever."
