A busty blonde is on the run after she held up a gas station with a blade in Gold Coast, Queensland on Monday. The young woman in her 20s, however, made enough amateurish blunders to ensure that she wouldn't be on the run for long.
According to The Huffington Post, a young blonde with an ample bosom wearing a low-cut top pulled up at a service station in a 4WD driven by a male companion. She walked up to the attendant in the Arundel store and brandished a knife at him demanding cash.
Ninemsn reports the incident happened around 12:30 a.m.
According to Daily Mail, apart from the clever strategy of trying to use her cleavage to distract attention, she made mistakes that not even an amateur bandit should have made. She forgot to cover her face, and while she remembered to wear a fingerprint concealing glove, she frustrated the purpose for wearing the glove by holding the handle of the blade in her un-gloved hand.
The Huffington Post reports she also made the crucial error of grabbing at the cash with her un-gloved hand and may have left fingerprints behind on the counter. Oddly enough, she remembered to use the gloved hand to hold the knife when she ran out of the store.
The "Buxom Bandit" also did not hide her hair and going by the fact that many officers will be dutifully studying her cleavage in the CCTV footage, her ample bosom may also help to identify her.
The bungling bandit managed to escaped with some cash. Although the CCTV footage of the amateurish robbery would make many investigating officers chuckle, police say they are taking the robbery incident seriously.
Daily Mail reports that spokesman for Queensland police, said: "There were a number of serious threats to harm the attendant and she fled with a small amount of money."
According to Ninemsn, the store attendant hurled things at her as she ran out of the store. Although she got away in the waiting 4WD, police say she left so many clues that they are confident she wouldn't be on the run for long.
